Hey you film buffs,

They announced the Oscar nominations! I think Lee has seen more of the films than me this year - will she be able to defend her Oscar Shnood win from last year? Or will Duddles finally win that McFlurry he is always talking about?

Here is the scoop on the nominations.

Lee tallied up the results for this years Oscar Shnood - and I won! Jai Hoo! Lee came in second and Duddles finished a disappointing third. Petri keeps claiming the Oscar Shnood is somehow biased against Duddles...

Me and Lee both agreed that the Oscars were good this year and I personally can't wait until next years Oscars. Do you think Schlopaline will be nominated for best Animated Picture? What movie will be the Schlopdog Millionbear of 2009?

Oh man, I just found out from Gulliver that I missed the last Oscars?! I don't know what happened. I guess I must have hit the snooze button during my hibernation.

Does anyone know what happened? Did Duddles finally win?

I heard that James Franco and Anne Hathaway are going to be hosting the Oscars this year!

So far the nominees haven't been announced, but I hear some early buzz from Lee that the Brown Swan could be the movie to beat!

The Oscar Shnoods will be on Furbruary 27th - so you guys better start thinking about your picks now!

I heard a rumor that Duddles likes Gylfie for best supporting OWL...

I think Duddles has a really good chance of pulling off a victory. Lee put all her eggs in Hugo and so if that falls through, Duddles could run away with it!

Overall I got 14 Shnoods, Lee got 7 Shnoods and Duddles got 3 Shnoods.

Can't wait for next year!

Whoa - looks like I never updated here about the last two Oscar Shnoods! My bad!

2013 was a super close race - I won with 12 shnoods barely holding off Lee with 11 shnoods (Duddles only got 2 shnoods).

2014 wasn't so close - I dominated with 16 shnoods while Lee got 6 shnoods (Duddles held steady with 2 shnoods).

The 2015 Oscars are going to be on February 22nd and will be hosted by one of our favorites, NPH!

Should be exciting!

Me and Lee and Duddles are gonna do our annual SHNOOD picks tonight when Nibs calls. Yeah!

This year seems particularly tough to pick. All I know is Duddles is really hoping Foxcatcher cleans up... zing!

Also I've been thinking that maybe I have an unfair advantage by getting to pick first - maybe this year I will let Lee pick first!

Hoo boy! We will wait for Shnoodles to confirm the final count, but according to counting my paws, it looks like 2015 results were:

Shnoodles: 19
Duddles: 3
Lee: 2

Hoo hoo hoo! What a surprise with Duddles jumping into second, hoo hoo! Good jorb Shnoodles on knowing all those foreign films and shorts! Lee will need to do more homework next time!

Guess Lee picking first wasn't the key, Shnoodles is just way better at this! Hoo!
