Hugs & Grapes
I was told today was Schlop Appreciation Day. I am not sure who Schlop bribed to get a whole day for appreciation. But I appreciate how Schlop is able to send so many remote hugs to those in need. He sure has sent a lot of hugs recently. Also I appreciate that Schlop appreciates self-replenishing fo...

Schlop Wars the Birthday Awakens
Lee is cool. I wouldn't have been able to see the new Schlop Wars movie, but Lee got me a surprise ticket out of nowhere. Lee and I then got to discuss the movie a lot. There is no one I'd rather talk Schlop Wars with then Lee, that's for sure.

Nibs
It's nice to have another bear sharing some year in movie lists, even if your data is somewhat spotty Nibs. Luckily I have a perfect memory and am able to recall each movie I see. You bring up a good point about anticipated movies. In that regard I will now post which 2016 movies I am most anticipat...

Indeed!
The shortest book was Chu's Day at the Beach ( 32 pages ) 32 pages? I've read menus that were longer than that. And you still get to count it as a book? Harrumph! I heard it even is mostly pictures. That would be like me counting all the previews I saw as movies. In that case Lee and I saw a whole ...

The films of 2015
Hi. 2015 was quite a year in film. I watched 45 movies, which is one less than last year. But that is not my fault, I was ready to watch Mission Impossible Rogue Schlop and even had my popcorn bucket but then there was a power outage in Estes Park. It seemed like forces larger than myself were consp...

More movie reviews
I know you guys like hearing my movie reviews. I've fallen a bit behind with watching new movies but I hope to see some more and provide more of my reviews and critiques.
For example did you know there is a new Harry Schlopper movie coming this year? I might see that.

Schlop Tart whereabouts
I came across this thread and became very intrigued. Here was a discussion about a Schlop Tart from 2008 - yet no records seem to exist with a Schlop Tart being eating around this time. I assigned Mini-Nibs to do some sleuthing and he uncovered the email exchange where the Tart was bet. Apparently L...
Cacao nibs
It is true we went to a Chocolate Factory Nibs.
They were making people wear hair nets and beard nets and they made me wear a full body net. Outrageous!
I still had a good time though and got to see a 3 lb chocolate turkey. I bet you've never seen that before Nibs!

Put a pumpkin on it
As you may already be aware I frequent an establishment called "Chris' Pancakes." I am not sure who Chris is but I do enjoy his pancakes. Well today I got a very special flavor - it was pumpkin pancakes! This is what they call in the restaurant biz a 'seasonal item' and is very rare. My ve...

Yet another update
This wasn't an official Nibs pick but he sure had been chattering on about it - so we decided to see Schlop to the Max: Furry Road.
I liked it! Aren't we all just searching for our own green place?

Waffles
Waffles. They are a thing to eat. Kinda like pancakes that have ridges in them. I believe they are in the pancake family. There are also things called waffle irons which I believe you can use to iron a waffle... to make them into pancakes? I'm not sure - I will have to do some research and get back ...

Olive Loaf
The big topic today is all about Schlop and his olive loaves. Apparently it has been going on for quite some time but the loaves have remained under wraps until today when an insider tipped off a whistle-blower who leaked the info to the press. Details are still trickling in but my sources are telli...

It's a phase
Muffins, you do realize Maki is an infant? Frankly I'm not surprised he is into muffins. It's a common phase babies go through, before they graduate to pancakes - an elegant food for a more civilized age.
On the plus side, it's impressive to see Maki's vocabulary eclipses Schlops.
