Hey guys. I think we all eat a lot of this so it might be a good thread.

This morning Lee made Schlop and me some old-fasioned oatmeal! We are at the parent's house (they are in Blackhawk) and she poured oats into a pot of boiling water and cooked it for us.

I must say, it was mighty tasty. Have you guys ever made oatmeal that way?

Wow what a coincidence - I just devoured a great big bowl of oatmeal with raisins!

I like to have 2 packets of cinammon oatmeal mixed with a box of raisins. Then I stir exactly 12 times (clockwise). Then I eat it! Mmmm mmm good.

I've never poured the oats into a pot... that's insane! It sounds to me like an urban legend. Also Duddles does remember the sprinkles. He says hullo.

Hey guys, this crazy bear broke into a house to eat some oatmeal. They say it is just like a reverse-Goldilocks... whatever that means. Check it out:

I just had a bowl of oatmeal (2 cinammon packets) and I added the usual box o' raisins. Then I tried adding some frozen blueberries. Wow! With each bite you didn't know if it was going to be a raisin or a blueberry. It's like turning your breakfast into a gameshow called 'Raisin or Blueberry?'!

Lee went camping and discovered a whole new way to make oatmeal!

I am getting this info second-paw so correct me if I'm wrong, but the recipe goes a little something like this:

Cut open a coconut
Place an apple inside one half
Add some peanuts and some butter in the other half
Reseal the two halves and shake until milk is produced
Schlop drinks your milk shake
Pour into a bowl of oatmeal
Serve over a marinated steak with shallots

Bon Schloppetit!
