Hi guys.

Yeah, last night I woke up Schlop and me and him and Nibs watched Firefly (good advice, Petri). We kind of messed up and ended up watching Episode 3, Episode 1 and then Episode 2 in that order. Oh well.

It's SO good. I think the original idea of Joss Whedin was to have almost a space Western, because the planet settings and the music was very much like a Western. The theme song is too. They play all that down in the movie.

I really like the characters so much. It was fun to see more of my favorites- Simon, Kaylee, Mel, etc. The show really has the same witty sense of humor that the movie did, so that's cool too.

Good stuff. I'll keep you posted on how it goes.

That cool - I knew Firefly would be awesome. Want to know how I knew that? It's easy - the Brownshirts are awesome!

I remember I told you about the Western in space idea after you saw Serenity but you didn't really say anything in response, must be because of what you said that they downplayed it in the movie.

Also, isn't it true that what Joss originally wanted for the pilot ended up being episode three - so therefore you watched it correctly in order?

We watched a few more episodes. Some are so funny!! Some are so scary!! It's so unbelievably good, how did it ever get cancelled???

It got cancelled - Lee - because of people like you! People who only watch it years later on (borrowed) DVDs. You need to be there from day one cheering the show on and boosting the mini-Nielsen ratings and chattering away on Twop if you want it to succeed.

Did you hear that Lee found a LOST POCKET of FIREFLY EPISODES!!!! She got to see THREE whole new episodes...that's amazing!! I mean, it's like when Schlop thinks he ate the last of the tuna but then he finds THREE MORE CANS!!!!

This is a very exciting day. I can't wait for when you guys start watching Firefly!!!!
