Trip!

Post by Nibs »

Oh yeah! This happened a while back but here are my photos from Lee and my trip to Pt Reyes. We found a cool abandoned boat, we climbed down to the lighthouse, we saw lots of deer on the cliffs, and we saw a really awesome sunset!

Sorry there are so many photos of the sunset, but it was just really cool.

Hope you guys like it:

Nibs York

Howdy Nibs! Those were some great pictures. I heard you are now in New York City? Are you taking any pictures there? If you go to the top of the Empire State Building - make sure you don't fall off like when you were on that fence!

Will you go to the Magnolia Bakery?

Hey guys!

I finally put up the photos of the hike Lee and I went on where I got chased by a cow! Pretty exciting stuff!

Aren't the hills so green?

European Vacation

Post by Nibs »

Hey Guys,

I finally put up some pictures of my adventures in Europe. You can check them out and see Knut and some gargoyles and some other fun things I got to see.

I don't like the picture at the end though- Lee got it of me right when I got off the plane... embarrassing!

Hope you guys like these:

Hi Nibs.

I heard you were in Seattle. That's neat.

I think the site is going pretty well. I'll try to read more books so that I can post about them here.
Answer: This character studied medicine, "knowing it would be useful in long voyages"

Question: Who is Gulliver?

Thanks Gulliver! Glad you still like the site.

I'm currently on another adventure with Lee! We had to get up REALLY EARLY (still dark!) and go to the airport. Lee thought we were flying Southwest but then it turned out we weren't and she had no idea what our actual airline was. But we finally found some nice guy who helped us out.

We did the crossword puzzle on the airplane. It was pretty fun. The theme was to name the adversary of many famous comic heroes. Here were some of the ones we got:

Superman's adversary (9 letters)
Batman's feline adversary (8 letters)
Batman's adversary (9 letters) <- hard one!
Spiderman's adversary (10 letters)
Spiderman's adversary (11 letters) (yeah, another one)
XMen's adversary (10 letters)
Wolverine's adversary (10 letters) <- Lee was so excited she got that

It was pretty hard though. Took us a while, do you guys have guesses?

The ones we didn't get included:

Avenger's Adversary
The one who wields the Cosmic Power
Another Superman adversary

More about our adventures soon!

Oh there was also The Fantastic Four's Adversary: (10 letters)

Bear Spottings

Post by Nibs »

Other cool things I saw on the way from the airport to the city:

- Looks like there is a new Frontier animal and it is a BABY POLAR BEAR?!?! Someone please confirm!

- I saw a girl walking and holding a floppy bear. She had a choke hold around his neck and his limbs were flopping as she walked. He looked happy and very Schlepp-like.

- I saw a clothes line with clothes drying on it, and hanging on one of the lines was a bear who had been pinned up by his EARS! Oh nos! I'm glad our baths don't end that way! Bouncing around in the dryer is much more fun.

good point PB

Oh right, you might not get my clever joke title. Stephen Colbert was the voice of the Fantastic Four's Adversary in the Venture Bros cartoon series. More reasons why that show is pretty cool.

Sigh

Please do your best to not let my sudden reappearance on these forums startle you into a state of shock or retroactive confusion. I have of late found the topics discussed in this soiree to no longer captivate my valuable attention. Yet, I can not stand idly by and watch young master Nibs report such blatant fictions as fact.

Stephen Colbert was the voice of Doctor Impossible on The Venture Bros, and do not let anyone inform you to an alternative of this truth. Doctor Impossible is the protagonist of that famous fellowship, quite pointedly the opposite of an adversary, or one could even go so far as to declare him the quintessential hero.

Good day.

Day Five

Post by Nibs »

Hey Guys,

Lee and I are at the condo/cabin place in Estes Park! It's pretty nice, although we have to sleep on the floor. But at least we get a soft pillow!

Nancy brought her little panda bear named Chemo with her. He's sitting next to Lee right now... hoo hoo. He's been hugged so much- he looks so raggedy. I'll try to get some good photos.

We did a little hike with Grandma today and saw baby ducks! They were CUTE! Hoo hoo.

Im hoping for more naps in the days ahead.
