Hey you Space Paranoids,
Us bears recently watched Tron the original from 1982! Lee is planning to go to a Tron Convention so we were helping her do some research on designing a cool Tron costume to wear. Some bears previously watched Tron but had forgotten most of what happened so it was fun to catch it again. Jeff Bridges (before he was The Dude) plays Flynn who had written some video games that were then stolen - and when he tried to hack in and get them back he was digitized into the computer. Flynn meets Tron and some other computer programs and together they are able to defeat the evil Master Control Program - cool!
The computer programs think of the "users" as gods who created them which is quite thought provoking, especially with the rise of AI like Chat-GPT.
Also it just so happened that today's Flickle was this exact movie - and Mini-nibs was able to guess it on the first clip - what are the odds!
Us bears are also hoping to watch the Tron remake called Tron: Legacy.
