New Foods

Food is a very important topic on these forums. We now have a new category devoted entirely to it (including any and all muffins, pancakes, and pastries).

Hey guys

We just got this week's delivery of Planet Organics and there is something in there called a "White Peach"

Do you think I should eat it?

Hi.

We just got a new food called a boca burger. We also got a tomato, an onion, lettuce, and ketchup to put on it. But we forgot to get buns. Duddles went out to see if he could spot some buns... but in the meantime we might try it with bread.

On the trail with Schlop eating some mix

Post by Gulliver »

Hi.

I got a new food - it is called trail mix. It is new because it has pumpkin seeds and sunflower seeds along with the usual mix. It is hard to eat though since the seeds fall out of my paws. Maybe I should use a spoon.

I hope Lee gets back soon...

Hi Gulliver!!!

Do you think we could make the Boca burgers a little sooner after my workout next time? My protein window closes in an hour.

It's a fitness thing.

Waffles

Post by DJ »

I heard Lee got a waffle maker. Waffles are pretty good but I always find myself gravitating back to pancakes. But there's nothing wrong with a waffle every now and again.

Food update

Post by Nibs »

Hi guys!

Me and Lee got a bunch more mini-pizzas today. It's been a while since our days of obsessively eating them. We also stocked up on Cliff bars. And got some frozen burritos of all shapes and sizes.

Just thought I'd give an update since we've been waiting so long to finally get back to the mini-pizzas!

Oh, we also got a pumpkin pie! Yeah!

I know me and Lee have been talking about this new phenomenon going on with today's kids called UNCRUSTABLES.

But we actually FOUND THEM at the store yesterday!! And got some!!

They were in the freezer section, which is kind of weird.

Apparently they're like frozen PB&J pies and then you thaw them and eat them? I'm scared. We haven't tried one yet. But I'll let you know how it goes.

Don't tell DJ or he might hang out in the freezer looking for PB&J pies.

Tarts

Post by DJ »

I heard Lee had a tart that was possibly the best tart ever!

This is a little embarrassing but... can anyone tell me what a tart is?

Sandy Eggos

Post by peaches »

Hi! I just got back from a great trip to Sandy Eggo to see Sneeches! We had the best time together and also got to eat a lot of great food. Here is a list of some of what I had:

Blaze Pizza - make your own pizzas! There were no peach toppings though. I tried arugula and pesto sauce.

Native Foods - it was all vegan! I got a salad.

Tony's Jacal - authentic Mexican food. I got a chili relleno and taquitos and deep fried ice cream for desert. There was a mariachi band too.

Hotel Del Coronado brunch - what a brunch! I felt like Charlie in the Chocolate Factory! I tried to sample one of everything: monkey paws, cinammon rolls, bear claws, cinammon waffles, chilaquiles, and I can't even remember all of it!

Blaze Pizza - we went back again!

Chipotle - I tried sofrita tacos!

Original Pancake House - I got an omelet with pancakes. The menu had a section called 'What is a pancake.' DJ would have found it interesting.

Also there was a pull-apart cake from VG Bakery and I had a lot of it!

What a great trip! I think I ate too much though!

Hooburger

Post by Nibs »

Thanks for cataloging all those foodstuffs, Peaches!!

I'm still recovering from all that we ate! Lee and I had to eat a McDonalds hamburger on the way home to balance it all out.

Hoo!

Tasty Pastry

Post by Nibs »

Word on the street is that DJ is attempting a new diet where he only eats strawberry unfrosted schlop tarts!!

It's very controversial and unconventional but sources say it is delicious!

Keep up the good munching DJ!

Simply look around

Post by Nibs »

I heard that the bears got to tour a Chocolate Factory and swim in a chocolate river!

Apparently DJ even went up a big pipe when he was pulled in by the suction!

I hope they didn't run into any vermicious knids!
