*sniff*

Looks like I didn't make the cut at Cambridge. Those stuffed-shirts said my essay was too controversial. Well, I'm still going to speak out on muffins, whether they like it or not! So there!

And Lee said I could come hang with her next year no matter what. Me and her are gonna eat a lot of muffins, I tell you what...

Yo Muffs,

I heard that Dave is going to be getting a whole shipment of Muffin Tops sometime soon and possibly eating some of them.

Keep watch and let us know if you see or hear anything. Constant vigilance!

If you see any lemon muffin tops...you should save one for me. Or banana.

No stalks

How did you know about that PB? That's crazy, I just ate a muffin top and now here you are asking me about it. Are you spying on me?

Anyways, I had a banana nut muffin top which was called a muffie. There was also a chocolate chip one and a powdered one. I have to say though that without the stalk it just isn't the same as a real muffin. When eating a muffin you have to take everything together, you can't just pick and choose. In other words, you have to take the good with the bad and the tops with the stalks. That's just my own personal muffin philosophy.

Hey Muffins,

Today at work someone brought in a TUB of Mini-Muffins!! There were so many! They were all blueberry though... so not a lot of variety.

I had at least 8. They were pretty moist and delicious.

Just thought you might be interested.

What a score! Sounds like you really hit the jackpot there. Eight mini muffins - wow!

Did you manage to save any for me?

Just wondering...

Hey Lee!

I just wanted to say thanks again for that awesome gift of a muffin pan - and with it came the ability to make super-awesome muffins! That was so much fun making those blueberry muffins with you, and all the bears have agreed that they turned out great! We are still eating them. There are only two left. I even saw DJ nibbling one when he thought I wasn't looking. Over all it was a tremendous success. Thanks!

PS - I can't wait for Nibs to post the pics!

Yay for Muffins!

Hey Muffs,

I'm so happy you liked the muffin tins!! And I'm really glad the muffins worked out so well. Let me know if you make any more muffins. Did you finish off that last batch? I can still imagine the taste of the yummy blueberry. Mmm.... scrumptious!

Okay!

Hey Lee - indeed the muffins are all gone. I ate the last one by myself. It was just as good as the first one I had!

When do you want to make more muffins?

I hope you have a blast in England. Let me know if you eat any English muffins. I mean... muffins from England. Confusing, huh?

Still waiting for those pics, Nibs!

BLUEBERRY MUFFINS!

Hey Muffins

So this girl who is staying with me is really into BLUEBERRIES (yes, Snuffles should be excited) and she wanted to make blueberry muffins last night. So we did (using the same mix that we used in St Louis) but she also ADDED real blueberries so they were EXTRA juicy.

Well we must've done something wrong since they didn't grow into nice pointed caps...but instead were flat on top. Perhaps we didn't follow the "high altitude" directions. Anyhow...they were still yummy and the BIG berries made for BIG flavor. It was good stuff.

Instead of using mittens, you could just use hot muffins to warm your hands, Lee. But it would be awfully hard to resist eating the muffins... and then your fingers wouldn't be warm. But your belly would!

Hey Muffins!

Guess what??

I went to the store yesterday and bought a new pack of MINI MUFFINS!!! This time I got Apple Cinammon, Banana Nut, and Blueberry. Schlop and I think the Banana Nut are the best.

I wonder if they have mini muffin packs at Shnucks.

Hi Lee,

I saw your post - and I remembered that when I go to get cinammon rolls at the store, there are some mini-muffins nearby. I will pick a box up next time I am at Schlops, and then bring them home for Muffins.

I'll update you once I get the muffins, okay?
