Why did you sell New York City down the river?

Hi bears!

Less of an eventful day today.

We shuffled rooms at the Hacker House and now Lee and I are in the top of a bunkbed. Hoo hoo, I can see so much of Brooklyn from up here!

We went to a trendy coffee shop and worked today and had a cranberry-apple tea.

Then we went back home and Lee did some conference calls for Workfuzzy while I napped.

Then me and Lee went to read The Red Pyramid over pizza. We went to a weird trendy pizza-bar and ordered 2 slices and each slice turned out to be the size of a full-one-third of a pie! We were stuffed after eating just one, so we brought home the other for a later snack!

Then Lee did more work and I did more naps.

For dinner Lee ate Korean BBQ with some old friends and brought me home the leftovers which were yummy!

Tomorrow begins the theater phase of the trip!

Hi Bears!

Thanks for the birthday gift from Dave, me and Lee have been reading up on Peru in the Lonely Planet!

It's pretty crazy! We know so little about Peru!

We just read a section that talks about how a delicacy in the mountain region is Guinea Pig and lots of people eat it! (I guess they are high in protein, breed a lot, and are pretty easy to keep and raise, like chickens.) Wow, I hope no one mistakes me for a Guinea Pig and tries to grill me! Like that poor porg. Hooooo hoooo.

We also read about a cool place on Lake Titicaca where people made islands out of weaving lots of reeds together and live on these islands but have to constantly upkeep them with more weaving of reeds. That's so cool!

Schlop is glad his malm doesnt require constant upkeep in weaving form.

More fun Peru trivia to come!

Wow Nibs I can't believe you are going to venture into Darkest Peru!

I hope you don't get eaten like a guinea pig.

Do you think you might ride a llama?

Bon Voyage

Hi bears!

Today I am venturing to Deepest Darkest Peru!

But first I must get snacks at LAX, MEX, and LIM before arriving in CUZ.

Gulliver sent us some books to help pass the time! And Lee and I discovered a lost trove of ebooks Gulliver had sent us when I went to China that we haven't read yet! Thanks Gulliver, both now and past!

The ipad was still logged into all these Chinese websites cause I hadn't used it since we were with Markian! Hoo hoo.

Anysneech, bears are all very impressed at Schlop's plan for while we are traveling and wanted to share them to the forums for posterity and future snarfs:

Nibs has been on quite the adventure.

He went to an island in a very large lake and found some sheep but did not find any porgs. Apparently a guinea pig has also joined his traveling party.

Unfortunately quite a serious incident happened where Nibs dipped his paw in stir fry sauce.

This is exactly why I would never travel to Darkest Peru because you never know what kind of things might get on your paw. Thank you Nibs for validating my worst paw fears.

Hey guys!

We are halfway through our trip in Deepest Darkest Peru and you know what they say... when you've flown as far as you can fly, you're only halfway there!

Hm, much more adventures have occurred than just my over eager nabbing of some stir fry. (By the way my paw was cleaned and dry and is fuzzy again. Also Lee pilfered a pillowcase at the last hotel so I now travel fully protected!)

Who knew Peru was the land of mini pizzas and blankets galore! We have also seen cool doorways that were 20' tall built 26,000 years ago!

Coca tea is pretty great and bananas are also delicious. Right now we are living the high life at a monastery with delicious organic foods- tonight is fish!

Tensions are running high in the group. One lady flew home cause she never acclimatized and two ladies are currently about to snap. We've been lucky to have good health and good sleeps so far!

Two more stops on the tour...Ollyantambo and Macchu Pichu!

Then back to the malm life and hanging with Schlop and SNEECHES!

Sounds dope

Howdy Little Nibs Dude!

It sounds like you are having quite the trip!

Right on, little dude! That sounds like a lifestyle I could get used to.

Could you score me some of that Coca tea?

Muchos gracias, Nibberino!

Lee has been gone for so long!

What if Schlop has regressed into a feral state and is only making noises like moops and meeps and hisses and - oh wait...

Also, Nibs in case you got Llama Pox and need to be quarantined before returning to the malm, I could come over and watch some Brad Pitt movies with you. It's kind of my thing...

Where da booty at?

My snources are telling me that this year there is a shortage of Pirate's Booty at Burning Man.

Out of protest Lee will not be attending several days of the burn.

Hopefully the booty will be back to full next year!

My snources are saying that Lee has embarked on a spiritual journey to be taught the ancient wisdom of the mystical arts. Just like Dr. Strange!

Maybe she will use her powers to see into all possible futures and find the one in which Peaches and Sneeches get to live together!

Hitchin' in a pack on Lee's back for snacks

Lee are you going to be bringing a backpack to school with you?

Also will there be snacks in the backpack?

Let me know.

Oh wow!

What an exciting week for me it has been! First a Super Nibstendo!

And now I have just learned that me and Lee are going to spend her Spring Break in March going to visit Markian in Wellington, New Zealand!!

Lee will still have to do some Workfuzzy work while traveling, but hopefully we can post up at some cool Wellington coffee shops and hang out.

Markian is probably 5 years old now and probably has a great kiwi accent! I hear he's really into legos. I wonder if he will remember me.

We haven't been to Stu's homeland since January of 2012, seven years ago! It will be neat to return and go check out what's new with the kiwis.

Such an exciting week for me!

Hey Nibs,

That is pretty cool you will be flying all the way to New Zealand!

I heard the travel could take 24 hours.

That means you could watch Paddington 2 12 times...

Cool!
