Nibs is going to China.

I am originally from China. Although I was so young I can barely remember it. Maybe Nibs can tell me about how it has changed since I was a young cub.

Also Peaches is from China.

Nibs is tagging along with Lee. Lee is a very experienced world traveler so she will be able to help Nibs find his way around. Just imagine all the exciting adventures they will get to go on.

If you please

Ni hau!

This is so exciting - I can't believe Nibs will be going to China!

Sneeches and I both grew up there! Of course he went by Sneechxuan back then...

I bet Sneeches can give Nibs and Lee some great advice on places to go and where to get the best wonton soup.

So exciting!

Think of the foods

Just think of all the foods that Nibs and Lee will be experiencing on their travels.

I bet there will be all sorts of new foods that none of us have even heard of before. For example, I am already hearing whispers of something called a 'Hot Pot.' What could that be? A hot pocket in a pot? I personally can't wait to find out.

Here's to Nibs and all the new foodstuffs he will discover.

Hi guys!

Glad you are excited too!

As Lee said the other night on the call, I like to fancy myself a modern day Marco Polo and I will report back on the unbelievable sites of the distant lands. I remember when Marco Polo saw the Chinese burning coal for the first time and the Europeans didn't know how to burn coal yet- pretty crazy!

Sounds like Lee is only on-duty for 2 hours every other day, so there should be lots of adventuring time!

PEACHES!!!

No one has called me that in a VERY LONG TIME!! I can't believe you still REMEMBER that!

Or should I say PEACHZHOU, HOO HOO!

I heard Nibs will be travelling with a young'un named Maki who takes unpredictable naps.

Maki is on a strict diet where he can only eat cooked food.

I bet Nibs and Maki will get along really well!

Do you think they were painted by Rainbow Goblins?

Guys!

I just learned there's a place in China called the TEDDY BEAR HOTEL and bears live there!

I wonder if I can stop in to say hullo to those bears!

Oh also, apparently I do NOT get to go to the Rainbow Mountains because it is too tough of a trip for Maki.

I hope this Maki guy makes it worth my while!

Hey guys,

I finally got past the Great Firewall of China and onto the forums!

I just finished week 1 of 3 in China!

Lots of feasts. And some creepy foods including fish balls, deep fried lotus flower, pigeon, gelatinized goose liver, yak, and all manner of creepy slimy crawly thing. I could really go for some toast and jam right about now!

Shangri-Lá in Chengdu had the Breakfast of the Gods. Howard Johnson in Wuhan was less impressive but still had mini pancakes! Now this scary place in Lanzhou freaks me out so I mostly eat watermelon.

Anysneech, Maki has been a handful but he's taught me a lot about Peppa Pig and Boonie Bears. And I've made some fuzzy friends in the course of hanging out with him.

Two more Maki days and then Lee and I will be free to explore China on our own!

Miss you guys!

Whoa! I am impressed you hax0red the Great Firewall Nibs!

That was cool to see a pic of you with all the new fuzzy friends you have made. They were all mini-sized, you looked like a giant among them. Maybe as a mini-size myself I would fit right in in China.

Just between us Nibs's - did you help Lee solve that rope riddle? You're a crafty one Nibs!

Gelatinized what?

Hi Nibs. Thanks for the food update from China. That is good to hear about the mini pancakes in particular. Just like I had imagined - pancakes all over the world.

Some of those other foods sound a bit disturbing. I didn't know you could eat a pigeon or a yak. My rule of paw is that all foods should be 1) stackable and 2) warm and 3) able to be used as a pillow.

It's great to hear from you Nibs and I wish you a pleasant rest of the journey.

Can you tell Lee I say hi?

That is exciting you are exploring all over China. I started reading the China book, but it's one thing to read about a place in a book and another thing to actually go there. And you actually went there. Congrats, Nibs!
