One Piece of Schlop

Ahoy mateys!

The bears have undertaken an epic quest to watch One Piece to see if Monkey D. Luffy can become king of the pirates!

So far we have watched two episodes where we met the thief Nami and bounty hunter Roronoa Zoro (and we learned where his 3rd sword goes). The crew were able to steal a map to the Grand Line and also defeated a scary clown pirate that could disconnect all his body parts.

My favorite character was Shanks who is a nice pirate - he saved Luffy from a giant sea beast and seems to be able to communicate with creatures. I hope Luffy will get to reunite with him in the future.

What do you guys think the Grand Line will be like? Hopefully it won't be too hazardous!

I really like how earnest Luffy is and how cool Nami is and the 3 dangling sword earrings of Zoro!

I thought Buggy's theatrical lines were pretty funny.

The 3rd episode got a little 2spooky4sneeches tho.

Hey you Straw Hat crew,

Us bears have completed season 1 of One Schlop and now we are setting sail for season 2!

It turns out the vice-admiral chasing Luffy was actually his grandfather who just wanted to test Luffy to make sure he was committed to being a pirate. It turns out Nami had been working for the evil Fishman Arlong in order to free her village. It all culminated in a big battle where Luffy brought down an entire building to crush Arlong. Also Zoro got bested in a fight with the warlord Mihawk (who used a tiny sword) and two of his blades were shattered, but he was healed thanks to the power of fish.

Now the crew is off to find the Grand Line which seems to involve a river that flows uphill - intriguing! They also picked up a chef Sanji who likes to make fancy foods and has a crush on Nami but doesn't get along well with Zoro. Luffy now has a big bounty on his head and some of the enemies he bested from season 1 are plotting their revenge.
