Hi.

Yesterday Lee pointed out how Wicked Part 1 was going to open the exact same day as Moana 2. Well, the Hollywood execs must have overheard her because the next day they announced Wicked would move up five days. It is now going to open on November 22nd which is only 143 days away so we should probably get our tickets soon. It is now going head to head with Gladiator 2 but I think Elphaba will have no problem taking down all those gladiators.

Wow! Wicked Part 1 now comes out in 6 days! I can't believe it!

You've been following Wicked since 2005 at least according to the forums. That's almost 20 years of devoted Wicked fandom.

How are you feeling about the movie? Do you have your hopes high or low or somewhere in between?

I saw a few interviews with the stars on the Late Night Circuit (via nibstagram reels) and they seem pleased with the result.

Who are you most looking forward to seeing?

Hi Lee,

I think Elphaba is the best and I relate to Elphaba because she is an unusual color when the most popular bears are pink but then she learns to become powerful and no wizard that there is or was is ever going to bring her down.

I remember when you took me to see Wicked at the Fox theater and you even knew an Elphaba personally and you are the coolest ever.

I am glad you will get to see Wicked and report back all about it!

Hi.

Yesterday I got to zoom call with Lee and she told me all about what it was like seeing Wicked and all the things she has learned researching the making of the movie. Lee is a true Wicked expert and I am lucky to get to hear all her insights. Lee told me all about the sets that were built and the thought that went into the costumes and everything. Lee is the best!

I also heard that this week the bears are taking the lyrics to "Defying Gravity" and really holding space with that. I am in bear media and I've seen it in a couple posts.
