Wow what an exciting World Cup finale!
Argentina was up 2-0 in the first half, but in the last 10 minutes France got 2 goals to send it to overtime. Messi scored in overtime but then France tied it again with Mbappe getting a hat trick (that means scoring 3 goals, and doesn't involve an actual hat btw). This led to penalty kicks where Argentina came out on top.
Congrats to Messi who was able to win it all in his final World Cup game, and also to Schlop who will get a McFlurry!
Whew, good thing we have 4 years to recover from such an epic game before the next World Cup!

Snuper Bowl 2023
Tomorrow is the big game and already there is a building sense of excitement among all us bears. Rumors are that Lee has procured us bears a feast of epic proportions - I even heard mentions of puffs, poppers and pickles!
Peaches and Sneeches have settled on a friendly wager - Peaches picked KC to score first while Sneeches picked the Eagles to score first. Usually the Eagles take a while to show up since first Gandalf has to send a moth to them, so that could be good for Peaches.
Also RiRi is performing at the half so I know I will be boogying down!

A Snuper Bowl to remember
Sorry this post is over a month late - but us forest bears had a Snuper Bowl for the ages back in February.
Lee scoured every corner of the cabin to make sure every bear would be in attendance. I'm not sure where the turtle came from but Duddles was quite happy to nap on his back.
Lee provided a smorgasbord of deliciousness that accomodated for all the peculiar food preferences of us bears. Check it out:
The bowl in the lower right is cheese puffs and the small bowl above the hummus was mini pickles for PB.
Duddles was particularly excited about his Swiss Cake rolls.
Here is us bears in front of the feast!
Then we remembered we had to make room for Lee on the couch:

It turns out the Eagles scored first - so Sneeches won the bet, congrats Sneeches!
