Whoa that picture of Duddles and the baklava is a really good one!

Anysneech, Lee recently got motivated to get Schlop some good foodstuffs.

This includes arugula and goat cheese and she's been making him salads with those 2 ingredients and he seems to like them.

But tonight at the bottom of the arugula bag we found a caterpillar! Oh my!

Have we been eating tarnished arugula for the last 2 days??

Perhaps sticking with Chipotle is the better plan. Schlop and I will discuss.

Hey maxi-Nibs - I say don't sweat it! That caterpillar is a good sign that the arugula is organic and healthy.

Keep up the good eats!

What part of the goat does the cheese come from?

Oh wow, thanks MiniNibs, for the reassurances.

And for fixing the forum notification system!

Today Schlop encouraged us to try putting the goat cheese in his wrap and it was REALLY GOOD we heard!

Goat Cheese is the new hot item over here for us SF bears.

Maybe we can try it with the St Louis bears over Sneechmas!

With 10 days of bed-rest and counting, events around here are slowing down.

That and the fact that Lee got groceries makes the meals more exciting!

Tonight Lee made Schlop some:

PASTA PUTTANESCA

It has been so long since we had that! Hoo hoo!
And Lee used elbow macaronis that were gluten-free.
And she chopped up an onion to make the sauce extra crunchy!

And then we had a side of Good Seed Bread Toast with fresh APPLE-BUTTER that the roommates cooked last night in a big pot.

A feast for the ages!

Bears!

Right now Lee and I are at a coffee shop on a blustery day and we are drinking:

Hot water infused with ginger, dates, kiwi, and mint!

It's called an "aromatica"!

Lee has been weaning us off of Blue Aprons and making a lot of fresh cooked salmon for Schlop each night.

This song we came across seems apropros:

New Food Routine

It's been 1 month since Lee and us Forest Bears let go of our Blue Apron training wheels and started cooking on our own!

Here's our current food routine:

* Breakfast: Oatmeal, raisins, very fresh local OJ (not for Duddles)
* Lunch: Caesar salad or Arugula and goat cheese salad, also a hard-boiled egg and Country Pumpkin Tea.
* Dinner: Salmon and broccoli, or sometimes sneech potatoes and brussels sprouts instead of broccoli, and sometimes a pork chop instead of salmon
* Treat: Lindt orange dark chocolate bar squares

It's working well so far!
