This is a new dinosaur that had a rainbow mane to attract mates

Can you imagine a bear with rainbow fur? Crazy!

Tinysaurus Rex

They discovered a new dinosaur that proves T. Rex used to be tiny before they became huge. That means there is hope that one day mini nibs can become a colossal bear who will tower over Nibs!

The tiny T. rex was only 3 feet 4 inches tall!

Still wondering

I'm still wondering, Nibs!

From 2015:
I was wondering Nibs... what's Maki's favorite dinosaur?

Quest accomplished!

We finally got your answer, Muffins!

While playing with putty with Maki, we asked him what his favorite dinosaur is.

He said "Dilophosaurus.... because they can spit acid!"

There's the answer!!!

We will ask again at the end of the week to see if it changes, hoo hoo.

The other funny thing is that Markian keeps talking about the Indominus Rex, but his Mom confirmed he has never seen Jurassic World, so that's pretty crazy that that fabricated dinosaur is now in the vernacular of kindergarten kids in New Zealand!

Wow!

Wow thanks Nibs!

Thanks for going all the way across the globe to find out what Maki's favorite dinosaur is!

But just FYI in the future you could just make a call instead of flying all the way there!

Great Honk!

Yay Muffins!

It only took 4 years and a flight across the ocean to answer your question!

Anyhow, have you heard about the research that shows Dinosaurs probably didn't roar but instead honked like a goose?

BLT-Rex with extra B

Scientists have unearthed a new T-Rex named Scotty who is the fattest T-Rex ever found!
The team suspect they know why Scotty was so heavy: its bones suggest it was an exceptionally old individual, probably in its early 30s. T. rex might have reached its maximum body length and height earlier in adulthood, but then bulked up as it became older and mature.
I guess DJ is following the same trend of bulking up!

Mini-Rex

They found a cousin of the BLT-Rex which was only 3 feet tall!

Suskityrannus is a key link between the enormous bone-crunching dinosaurs like T. rex and the smaller species they evolved from
Maybe like how Snuffles is a key link between the enormous pancake-flattening bears like DJ and the smaller Nibs-like species he evolved from
The new species shows that tyrannosaurs developed many of their signature features like a muscular skull, broad mouth and a shock-absorbing foot when they were still small, maybe as adaptations for living in the shadows
Hmmm, Schlop has shock-absorbing footpads too... what does he do in the shadows?

Lee is really good at drawing snouts on cows but I bet even she never could have drawn such a funny looking snout!

Hey Muffins!

Looks like they found a whole feathered dinosaur tail in amber.

Exciting!

That is so sad Nibs - that poor little guy got stuck in the resin and couldn't get out. I feel so bad for him.

It's good that Schlop is so careful to avoid sitting in something sticky!

They found a new dinosaur called a Dancing Dragon that had a long tail and liked to hang out near lakes.

"There was a lot of flying, gliding and flapping around these ancient lakes."
I bet Schlop would be good at counting flapping dinosaurs!
