There is a pox sweeping the globe and now the malm is in a state of emergency!

It sounds bad - but luckily Lee has years of Pandemic skills to help survive and Nibs has been hoarding water glasses in strategic locations. Schlop has also amassed a stockpile of blankets.

If the malm does get quarantined - I have some tips for you guys based on my own experiences. Make sure you have enough VHS tapes of Brad Pitt movies (especially ones that take place in Montana). I guess that is pretty much it - so I should have said tip instead of tips.

Stay safe guys and remember to wash your paws!

I know there is a lot of anxiety on the flannel bed right now about the pox - but don't worry guys - if things get bad Lee said she will come pick us up and take us to the malm where we can eat Corn Schlop Dogs with Schlop and also fancy tuna with pickles.

Wow good thing Matrix 4 wrapped its shoot and now I can devote all of my attention to this new adventure!

Me and Sneeches and Schlop are reprising our epic journey across The Great West together right now! Lee drove us in her new RAV4, which is comfier we all agree, and can play cassette tapes. We saw the sun set over Lake Tahoe and enjoyed the beauty of the Nevada desert and then the glittering sun reflecting off the salt flats.

Now we are in Sahl-tah Lake-ah Cit-ee and tomorrow night we will be with Heidi.

Then it's off to get the St Louis bears for the prophesized GREAT BEAR REUNION of 2020.

I hear there will be good food stuffs.

Good thing we've been unintentionally stocking up on a lifetime supply of board games to play during quarantine.

All bears currently still pox free!

The GREAT BEAR REUNION of 2020 is underway!

We rescued all the St Louis Bears and are all safely in the Rocky Mountains!

We've been here for 2 weeks so far and all bears are healthy and pox-free.

We've been making lots of foodstuffs including sneech potaotes, enchischlopas, pasta salad, and schlop tarts!

I have been having a most horrendous losing streak on the minis. Will it continue for the whole quarantine? Stay tuned!

Games played so far include:
* Kingdominos
* Modern Art
* Azul
* Castles of Burgundy (a 3.5 hr affair in which Dave used sheep to defeat Lee at the end)

We have also watched Cheer and Five Came Back. Lee watches Mash with Mom each night too.

So far everyone is pretty fuzzy. We miss Stu and Klondike tho.

Duddles enjoys sunspots and being wrapped in many layers. Schlop enjoys napping on his own. Sneeches and Peaches seem delighted to be together.

Oh yes and Muffins was quite heroic on the drive across Kansas and helped a lot. Also Muffins has helped Lee a lot with her grad school classes and has really stepped up. Three cheers for Muffins!

Rumors are that pancake mix has arrived and breakfast-for-dinner could be coming soon....

We have conquered all Spelling Bees except one. Fuzzah!

Well the pox is at an all time high and the bears are discouraged because they're not sure when they'll get to see each other again.

Stay strong, bears, don't give up hope! This is but a passing shadow, and the stars still shine brightly above us.

Oh wow most exciting news!

One year later since the St Louis bears first discovered the pox outbreak in Wuhan, there is finally a vaccine and Dave gets to receive part one of it in 2 weeks time!

Preparations are underway to help manage any and all pox side-effects that may happen.

* PEACHES is fluffing the pillows and washing the blankets to make everything very soft and snuggly.
* DJ is making a big pot of bone broth soup that will nourish and replenish electrolytes.
* MININIBS is making a playlist of soothing music to listen to.
* GULLIVER BEAR is researching good movies and musicals to watch while recovering.
* MUFFINS is readying a compress station and practicing his healing hugs

The Forest bears are working on their long-distance fuzzy-bending skills so they can bend more fuzziness to help counterbalance any unfuzzy chi that arises.

Bears are ready to form a REAL HEALING PILE, the most powerful of piles, to support any symptoms and reduce anxiety and worry.

The St Louis bears are also practicing forming a HEALING CIRCLE where they all hold paws and create a fuzzy flow through anyone they hold paws with.

All bears support Dave and are so relieved he will soon be immune from the pox, just as the new variant begins to spread.
