Lee ate a muffin

Post by lee »

Yeah, sorry guys. I was gonna post my muffin story sooner.

So I went to that Bill Simmons signing and I was starving, so I ran to the cafe in the bookstore and they had Blueberry muffins.

First she asked me if I wanted a low-fat blueberry muffin and I said no. Then she tried to give me one with all these piles of brown sugar on it, so I said "never mind- I'll do the low-fat one."

Then she INSISTED on heating it for 20 seconds in the microwave. Wouldn't take no for an answer, even though those 20 second cost me 10 places in line for Bill.

It was good she heated it up. It made the blueberries kind of melt and diffuse through the muffin. It also unfortunately made the muffin wrapper stick to the dough so I never did get to truly eat ALL of the muffin. There was a layer that just wouldn't come off the wrapper.

Anyway, it was a great muffin. It renewed my faith in the deliciousness of muffins. I recommend heating your muffins in the future (the edible kind).

Wow - what a story!

Do you know what happened to the wrapper?

Was the muffin top crunchy or moist?

I threw the wrapper away when I got all the muffin off of it I could.

And the top was moist but firm, not crunchy.

You guys should really bake some muffins. Maybe with blueberries.
