Another co-read book

Gulliver and I both read Ms Marvel! We liked Chunky the Hamster. And that winged sloth that looked like Duddles. We have some gripes about super-heroes in general and think that maybe this grouping of issues wasn't a complete story line. We learned about Thomas Edison the cockatiel tho. It's fun to ...

Yggdrasil!!!

Gulliver and I both read Neil's new book about Norse Mythology!

I liked it a LOT! The best part was the dwarf forging battle!

Do you think we should try to come up with some questions for Neil?

Like what's your Goblin name??

Or who's your favorite carebear??

Destiny!

Wow, this thread began in September of 2015. And now 18 months later... we are closing in on the day for when Gulliver gets to see HAMILTON!!! (And Lee gets to see it again!) Last time Lee saw it, it took 2 back-to-back FULL 3 hr phone calls to discuss all the details of it, hoo hoo! What will this ...

Spare the woods

Hi Gulliver! Hope you enjoyed watching Into the Woods with me last night! What strange stylistic choices those were. I'll tell the other bears about it: * There wasn't really a set. Just some objects scattered about. Every actor was on stage the whole time, and when it wasn't their turn, they sat on...

I believe in fairies

Hey Gulliver, Finding Neverland was pretty great! In the opening song a real-life big fuzzy dog came out and me and the guy in the row behind me clapped for the dog, hoo hoo. Then later in one of the kid's imaginations, the dog turns into a dancing Russian bear- so there was a guy dancing with a bea...

Sneech and I

Hi Gulliver! I think the thread is a good idea. Hoo! The opening was cool. They had a thin white blanket that looked like a sail billowing across the whole stage and then they released it and it floated away gracefully across the stage. Then they had a really elaborate and impressive ship. I think t...

Concerts

Gulliver surprised me with tickets to SIA tonight at the Oakland Arena! I once heard a Sia song once, hoo hoo. But I like big spectacles, I can't wait. I wonder what kind of special effects will happen. I've also never been to the Oakland Arena, should be cool. I will try to sneak Nibs in with me an...

Need a story

Hi Gulliver, On Saturday I am going to attend an event called Hike and Read. We will be hiking the weak-ankles trail that we once hiked with Duddles, hoo hoo, in Muir Woods. It seems as though people are supposed to bring short stories, poems, or excerpts to share with other people. Do you have any ...

Ash music video

Amanda wrote a little song about how Missourians (and others) should vote tomorrow. Ash is making noises with Neil in the background! https://www.facebook.com/amandapalmer/?fref=nf Hoooooo! That reminds me that I like watching AFP videos on days when I'm not feeling well: https://www.youtube.com/wat...
